Ross, Cooper, and Matt founded the Austin winery in may 2014, pioneering the first full-production, grape-to-glass winery within Austin city limits. With backgrounds steeped in the intricacies of cellars, tasting rooms, and wine brokerage, ross and cooper honed their skills before embarking on this entrepreneurial venture. Their initial success, marked by the creation of two acclaimed red blends, paved the way for the addition of matt smith to the team, bringing invaluable structural expertise to the burgeoning winery. In 2016, a pivotal moment arrived with the arrival of our assistant winemaker, Adrienne. Her passion for winemaking and innovative spirit quickly became evident as she introduced the amphora program to our winery, adding a unique dimension to our winemaking process. Adrienne brought a fresh perspective, and her dedication to quality has been instrumental in shaping the character of our wines. The relocation of the Austin winery to the yard in may 2017 marked a significant milestone in our journey. It was the year we committed to producing wines exclusively from Texas-grown fruit, a decision made to showcase the distinct terroir of our region. Since then, every vintage has proudly represented 100% Texas fruit, highlighting the quality and character of our local landscape.
