Each of the select vineyards has contributed its dramatic character that led to the creation of a complete, deep, and harmonic wine. Following 18 months maturation in oak barrels, the final blend is dark and concentrated with raspberry, blueberry, and plum fragrance, as well as roasted oak, coffee, and soil. The wine’s texture is heavy and rich and tastes of ripe fruits. Teperberg Winery was founded in 1870 in the Old City of Jerusalem by the family Teperberg. They changed names (Efrat) and locations (Motza) until they arrived in their new modern winery in Tzora, near Beit Shemesh. Shlomo Rauchberger (Shiki) is the head winemaker of reknown and is assisted by Olivier Fratty. Together, they have raised the quality of the wines to world class.
