Description

This estate bottling is hand harvested from steep, south-facing vineyards with slate and quartzite soils. After fermentation in traditional barrels the wine is further matured in stainless steel. Sleek and a little herbaceous on the nose with a deftly integrated hint of residual sugar on the palate.

Winemaking

Selective hand picking in several reading passes. Gentle pressing of the grapes. Fermentation and storage with natural yeast in wooden barrels from local oak forests.
