Diel has been a well respected estate in Nahe since 1802 and is currently helmed by Caroline, one of the elite female winemakers in Germany. She creates the “Eierfels” bottling as essentially a miniature Grosses Gewachs – most notably due to the fact that the fruit is sourced from two Grand Cru sites (Goldloch and Burgberg).
