Fruit-dominance and a slightly sweet impression testify to the ripeness and relatively low acidity of the vintage, and here is clearly an instance where the enlivening soupçon of Riesling that gets administered to this primarily Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris cuvée was very much needed. The feel is still quite soft. Juicy apple and peach are piquantly inflected with their seeds and pits, an inflection somewhat unflatteringly reinforced by a hint of finishing heat.
