The growing season began early and, as a result, ended early at the end of October when fruit achieved optimum ripeness with perfectly balanced sugar and acid. Select lots were sourced from diverse Napa Valley sub-appel lations to create a medly of nuanced f lavors, aromas and varietal characteristics. Soft tannins and the grape’s inherent sweetness make this wine an ideal accompaniment to duck and other light meat ent rees and par ticularly delicious with blackened fish dishes.
