Small family producer with their own vineyard in Coombsville who have just started making their own wine. Unusually for Cabernet Sauvignon, there is some whole-cluster fermentation making the wine light and smooth, while the use of 20-30% new oak gives structure and weight. Concentrated aromas of pepper, clove, blackcurrant, black cherry, and tarragon lead into a serious, balanced palate with firm, gripping tannins and lively acidity. Just 135 cases made.
