Description

This full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon is made from fruit harvested from vines on alluvial bench land on the valley hillsides of the Rutherford AVA. Located in the center of Napa Valley, the Rutherford AVA is a result of two historical geological events.  On the west side, the Mayacamas mountain range formed when tectonic plates pushed the ocean floor upwards, resulting in soils high in calcium.  The east side of the valley consists of iron rich soils formed by ancient volcanic activity.  This Cabernet Sauvignon is made from fruit harvested from vines on alluvial bench land on the valley’s hillsides.
