When Giuseppe Rivetti and together his son Giorgio began making their own Moscato d’Asti in 1977, they could not have imagined that one day La Spinetta would encompass three properties in Piedmont and one in Tuscany. In 35 years, the Rivetti family has grown from a small Moscato producer into one of the most revered wineries in Italy, producing wines from 100% exclusively estate fruit. A combination of an unbound passion for wine, strong ideals, respect for tradition and a great ambition toward excellence, prompted Giorgio and his family decide to keep growing, expanding their portfolio of indigenous wines beyond the borders of Piedmont and past the bounderies of still wine.
