Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccino, Nocera and Nero d’Avola complement each other in this wonderful wine. Claudio Barbera’s Faro DOC is produced only in the best years, the grapes are selected and lies in oak barrels for a year. It is included in the “Qualità Sicura Sicilia” brand which aims to enhance agricultural and food products with a high quality standard. It is a long-lived, elegant wine, certainly a good representative of that land overlooking the Strait of Messina.
