The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Lavaut Saint-Jacques 1er Cru has a detailed tertiary-scented bouquet that blossoms in the glass. Blackberry wild hedgerow and scents reminiscent of walking through woods just after an autumn shower. The palate is very well defined with filigree tannin. This is beautifully poised with tangible energy towards the persistent Earl Grey-tinged finish. Excellent. Neal Martin.

| Aging | Aged in French oak barrels, of which a maximum of 15 % are new. Bottled with no finining, no filtration and no enzyme additions. |
