Their 2 ha of Aligoté vines are situated on the north-west side of the Hill of Corton. Simon joined his father Rémi at the estate in 2003 having trained at the renowned Kumeu River winery in New Zealand. His wife Caroline also works in the business. Simon is the great grandson of founder Raymond Rollin who first started selling his wines in bottle in the 1950s. “We respect daily the balance of Nature, to preserve our terroirs and produce wines of exception,” is their mission statement and their efforts certainly translate into the bottle in the form of intense pure fruit flavours.
