The sophomore 2018 Vosne-Romanée Village comes from “Les Chalindins.” It was showing a little reduction on the nose, although that will blow off by the time of bottling. The palate is nicely balanced with fine tannins and pretty black cherry and crushed strawberry fruit, a dash of spice and moderate length. Fine. Seven barrels produced.
