This is a bright medium-bodied Rhône blend from Clos Des Mourres who also have plantings in nearby Vaucluse — a blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, and Syrah hand-harvested from ~35 year-old vines planted in sandy soils, the grapes are hand-harvested and undergo spontaneous fermentation with only the help of native yeasts. Light punching down and pumping over. Aged on the lees without racking for 8 to 10 months, bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
