The Hauts de Madon is a serious Cheverny Rouge, NOT for kicking back and taking lightly. Red blend with plenty of trademark Venier spice, almost referencing Languedoc aromatics of thyme and rosemary. 2019 was a year with great material, like 2018 and given that this is the more significant of Venier’s cuvées, this will surely benefit from some age. If drinking now give it a proper decant and a very slight chill.
80% Pinot Noir and 20% Gamay./ ABV 13%
