Description

Once upon a time, there was a wheelwright named Jean Lacoste who in 1779 bought a few sunny acres located along the Chemin Royal which goes from the Port of Barsac to Captieux: the bourdieu de La Clotte. Its arpents looked out over the Ciron which was to flow further into the Garonne and whose clear waters already bore wood and casks, wheat and paving stones, since its course had been laid out by the Carthusian monks many centuries before.
