Description

Quinta de Pancas was established in 1495 in the village of Pancas, making it one of the oldest wineries in Portugal. The Quinta is located in the Upper Alenquer County, 30 miles northeast of Lisbon, nested between the Serra de Montejunto and the Tagus river. The winery enjoys a particular microclimate influenced by its eastward facing hills. Winemaker Frederico Gomes has been involved in preserving unique and different Portuguese varietals.
