The medium-fertility soil produces high fruit concentration.

Vineyard

Our grapes grow in the Maipo Valley, which stretches from the highlands to the coastal areas; therefore, the vineyards are under the influence of the Andes.
Higher altitude vineyards favor the development of phenols and tannins, while the ones located near the lake produce gentle and elegant tannins. The valley has a characteristic rocky clay-loam soil that gives wine a balanced acidity.

Winemaking

The grapes used in making this wine were carefully selected by hand. They were left in a pre-fermentation maceration during five days at 8 °C before alcoholic fermentation, which was conducted in stainless steel tanks at a temperature between 26 and 30 °C for seven days. The post-fermentation maceration took place afterwards for twenty days.
