The Saints-Juliens site takes its name from a chapel called Saint-Julien, built by Saint Martin in the 6th century, which once stood there. Today a cross commemorates this story. The Lieux-Dits lies just north of the commune, below the 1er Cru Aux Thorey site, and has a south-west exposure and limestone gravel soil.
