Located on the right bank of the Douro River, between Régua and Pinhão, Quinta do Crasto is a property with about 130 hectares, of which 70 are occupied by vineyards. Also part of the company’s heritage are Quinta do Querindelo, with 10 hectares of Vinha Velha, and Quinta da Cabreira, in Douro Superior, with 114 hectares of vineyards.

With a privileged location in the Douro Demarcated Region, Quinta do Crasto has been owned by the family of Leonor and Jorge Roquette for over a century. As is often the case with the great Quintas of the Douro, the origin of Quinta do Crasto dates back to ancient times – the name Crasto derives from the Latin “castrum”, which means Roman fort.
